Civil ceremonies… do you print wedding book for guests?

If there’s no readings then I d say no, you could always perhaps do one of those blackboards with timings on as a compromise 🙂

libertine_lady :  If the officiant/celebrant introduces the reading then I think you could do without wedding books 🙂

libertine_lady :  I’m having a very similar ceremony and we decided against booklets in the end as we feel most people just leave them on the seats. We’re on a budget and it didn’t seem worth it for 20 mins.  Instead were having a sign printed up similar to what the PP said, and on that as well as the schedule we will name our readers.

We have created an order of ceremony fan. So the dual purpose hopefully keeps them in peoples hands.

I am going to buy a print template off Etsy and do them myself so it won’t cost much $$. The main reason we decided to have them is just for our parents and grandparents as a keepsake. We know they will love them and it’s worth doing it even if all the other guests leave them on the chairs!
