You HAVE HAVE HAVE to get this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Wedding-Ceremony-Planner-Essential-Important/dp/1402203438

Several bees (including myself) have used it as a jumping off point in planning our ceremonies.  For me, it was the best buy I made for our entire wedding!  We had my MOH’s mom marry us — it was her first wedding she ever performed, and it was so fantastic!  It gives tons of examples of scripts you can use and you can mix and match and throw in your own personal stuff in there… I can’t recommend it enough! GL!

Oh my goodness I wholeheartedly agree to read this book!!!

I just started it and am only about 15 pages into it and I know more now then I ever thought one could know. It is an incredible resource!

If he thinks they’re cheesy — tell him to find one then!!  Seriously!  How about a quote from a movie (just not Animal House!!) — or what about reading some lyrics from one of his favorite songs?

Boys will be boys though — so if he doesn’t mind – take on this part of the wedding and let him do something fun like rent the limos or plan the honeymoon!
