@beelovely: You may want to use a milder face wash with the clarisonic. The Bridal Party wash, on its own, is challenging enough for the skin. When paired with the clarisonic it may be too much for your skin to handle. Something more gentle, like Purpose or Cerave (both inexpensive drugstore brands), may be a better option for using with the clarisonic. Good luck!

I really like mine because it gets make up and dirt off very well, but I didn’t notice any dramatic results.

@peonyinparis: Oh that’s easy! I remember reading something about vinegar? I like your idea better 🙂

@lovekiss: i actually did just buy the Burts Bees gentle moisturizing face wash to use with it rather then my trusty PanOxyl. I just used it the first time since it already sitting next to the sink : )
For those of you that broke out when you started using it, when did the breakouts appear? after a day or two or a few weeks?

I had an initial breakout that was pretty bad (it brought up three really bad cystic acne bumps that had been hiding for a while), followed by a week of really bad peeling (it was never that bad when I was getting on Retin-A), but now my skin is looking really good (almost 3 months later). Some days I use it in the morning and the night, but in the morning I just pass it over my skin and don’t use it for the entire timed cycle.

I just bought a Mia 2 after I heard such good reviews on another thread! I will start using it tonight. This thread has now inspired me to take a “before” photo, so I can compare and assess results a few months later.

I bought my Mia 2 a few weeks ago. I’d been wanting one forever and finally did it. I only use it twice a week so far (in the evening) and love it so far. There isn’t a giant noticable different in my skin but it’s not as gross flakey in certain places (I’m back on steroids again and they always make my skin awful – so far they’re not as bad as they are usually).

I really wish I had taken before and after photos before I started with my Clarisonic. I’ve been using mine for 3+ years with the sensitive brush head. I use it 3 times a week and it, combined with my Renee Rouleau skincare, has transformed my skin!! I’m the most acne-prone person in human history and I hardly break out anymore, and if I do it’s because I’ve been eating too much dairy or it’s a hormonal breakout. The texture of my skin has been transformed too, and people constantly comment on my flawless skin? Me? Flawless skin o_O?? LOVE my Clarisonic!!!

I’m using Bare Essentials right now on my skin, and it’s doing alright. My skin is very soft, but I’m still breaking out. I’ve thought about getting the Mia but I guess I don’t see how scrubbing my face a special way does something? I know I’m missing the point, but how does this stuff work really?
Is it a stand alone treatment? Or can I keep using Bare Minerals?
