I LOVE my Clarisonic!!  People stop me all the time and tell me how wonderful my skin is – I tell them to get a Clarisonic.  It makes all the difference!

I use Buf Pufs. Same concept as Clarisonic, except for $5. Works for me and my budget, haha.

I really wanted to love my Clairsonic, but alas, after 5 months of trying, I had to stop.  I was told that there is a “break-in period”, so I stuck to it, hoping that my skin would normalize, but after those 5 months, I couldn’t take the redness and breakouts any longer!  I was even using the softer brush and tried switching it up to once every other day, but it just wasn’t for me in the end.

But like you, I bought it because so many people had good things to say about it.  I, unfortuntely, was not one of them.  But I blame my skin, not the product.

Good luck!

danadelphia! I just got mine 2 weeks ago and I LOOOOOOOVE it! I only use it once a day (at night before I go to bed) and it works well for me and makes my skin super smooth. I only use a mild cleanser with it (Oil of Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin).

There was a poll posted here on WB about 2 weeks ago asking if the Clairisonic caused people to break out, and about 50% said yes, and 50% said no. Of course I was freaking out (b/c I cannot afford to have breakouts after trying for months to get my skin under control) but I am glad I read all the reviews and advice and decided only to use it once a day. So far, so good. (Fingers crossed).

Hope you like it!

Upon the recommendation from my plastic surgeon (who got no kick-back or had any affiliation with the company), I purchased one from QVC.  Been using it about a month.  Love it!  Especially in the shower with the body brush attachment.  I haven’t had any problems with breakouts or the like so I can’t speak to that issue.  But I really like it and I’m extremely skeptical about all the gadgets out there.

I have one.  I think that the breakout problem has to do with the cleansers people are using.  If you’re worried about it, try using it with Cetaphil.  They really don’t market the cleansers that come with it because they want you to use your own cleanser.  The brush is just an exfoliator.  So use whatever cleanser you have now so that your skin doesn’t freak out.

I absolutely LOVE mine.  I’ve had it for a year now and it makes my skin SO smooth!  My test to see if it was working is I would try cleansing my face WITHOUT it and then use a toner pad.  The pad always turned gray from all the skin still left on my face.  When I use the Clarisonic, the toner pad never shows anything on it!  All the dead skin gets brushed off and washed away.

I use Murad Clarifying Cleanser with mine and Ole Henrickson sensitive skin toner.  I rarely break out now, and that’s a HUGE difference to me!

I just got the Clarasonic Mia (smaller version) two weeks ago and I LOVE it!!! My fiance has even started to use it. I started going for facials about two months ago and I loved how my skin felt and looked after they used the Clarasonic, so I had to get it. It was hard to spend that much money, but it was definitely worth it!

I’m definitely going to have to buy one for me and the mister after reading all of your comments on here! I especially like the sound of a body brush!

I used mine every day the first week and then every other the second week and I can see a difference already.  I will probably just continue using it every other day.
