I have a cushion halo with a round center, so of course that gets my vote! I love it because I like the shape of the cushion, but the sparkle of the round. I get the best of both worlds with my ring, and I feel like the two shapes really compliment each other. I also get a lot of comments from people about it being unique, which is nice. I’ve never been a solitaire girl anyway, so this choice is easy to me!

@ayirk723:  I have a solitaire and they are fun because you can dress them up in a variety of ways.

But that said, I see a lot of halos here, a  LOT, and I think your halo is fresh, especially if you get it in that yellow gold. It does not look like every other cushion halo ring.

I love the cushion halo, you get the extra romance of the halo but the simplicity of the solitaire on the band.  4-prong solitaires personally aren’t my favorite since they’re extremely common

I almost always go for the solitaire because I prefer them to halos, BUT, I have to say I really like the simplicity of the halo you posted! Its really gorgeous and brings out the beauty of the stone! I say go for the halo!

I love them both! I went back and forth between a three stone and a solitaire and ultimately decided on the solitaire. It’s just a classic!

I find halos to be too trendy for me

I love the band on the halo setting.  I’m not usually a fan of halos but that one is really delicate and pretty.

I love the delicate halo you pictured but I’m a solitaire girl as I like to switch up my bands after all these years married. I feel a solitaire will always be in style. But both are beautiful!

I’m a solitaire girl but I actually love that halo you posted. It’s very subtle but still different enough from a solitaire or other halos.

I think both are beautiful, however, there is just something about a simple solitaire that I LOVE. Of all the fancy, beautiful ring I always seem to go back to a solitaire.
