I’m going to be getting an amora gem set in a moissaniteco ring and I’ve decided on a round halo but I can’t decide on whether I should get a petite halo or a classic halo. The styles I’ve been looking at are eng 192 and eng 481. If anyone has a picture of any kind of petite or classic halo and could give some advice I’d appreciate it! If you wouldn’t mind telling me your center stone size I’d appreciate it!

I personally think the classic halo is prettier. The petite halo looks too thin to me. If you were to get the classic halo, would you be getting diamond side stones?

All of their classic halo designs are to die for, and their petite ones are thinner but more expensive. To me that means less material for more money. It’s probably because the petite also has diamond sidestones, so that’s another thing to consider. I do like the cathedral setting of the petite, but I also love the basket on the classic. If you like the cathedral style, I’d say go for the petite, but if you don’t care and want to go for cost, I’d go classic 🙂

I have a really thin and delicate halo, which I love, but betwen those designs I personally like the classic better, but you couldn’t go wrong either way. and like PP said, if you like a cathedral style setting you are better off with the petite.

I was never personally a huge fan of halos until I came on the bee and was introduced to the petit halo. I think they’re to die for so that’s what I voted for 🙂

I prefer the petite halo with a larger center stone and the classic halo with a smaller center stone.
