We are very blessed to have a venue that allows us to bring in our own alcohol and food. I was thinking that as people drink throughout the night they may get hungry (even though we do have a caterer feeding them dinner). I was thinking we could possible do a “snack bar” that is similar to a candy bar? Does anyone have any ideas?? What could I stock it with? Does anyone have a better idea?
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this! I truly appreciate any and all suggestions! : )

Yum, great idea. I’ve heard of people ordering pizza which seems like it would be a hit, but if you want to have lots of options, it would probably be easiest to do things that don’t require heating, like chips and dips, pretzels, cookies, etc. Just think JUNK FOOD! 🙂

Who doesn’t love cheese? Maybe have a big cheese tray!

In Canada it is really common to have ‘midnight snacks’ brought out at a reception that runs until 1 or 2am, which is usually crudites, crackers, cheese, meat and olive platters, fruit skewers etc.
Lots of people enjoy it as it gives you something to nosh on other than alcohol. I think you could go with anything really as long as it isn’t too heavy, think light ‘appetizer’ types of food.
Okay, now I am hungry.

I’ve heard some people do milk and cookies afterwards. Or maybe flavored popcorn, pretzels, flavored nuts.

Maybe savory trays of roll-up mini sandwich appetizers? Costco make them. Veggie platters? Just another idea besides just sweets. Love the cookies and milk idea 🙂
