My aunty made this for my shower as a centerpiece decoration. It took her hours to handcraft each flower….it looks very realistic, right size, good ribbon. I think it’s beautiful, no cost and I can keep possibly for a future child’s wedding. What do you think? My aunty said no pressure and I can just use it for my wedding rehearsal and/or home decor. The problem is I love love love fresh flowers. I guess I need a little encouragement to forgo fresh flowers for sentimentality. The ceremony will have similar white flowers with possibly a bit of greenery. [attachment=365572,46891] [attachment=365572,46892]

Your aunt is very talented and kind! Lucky you!

That bouquet is a one of a kind. Not many too many brides get to have one. If you still want a fresh flower bouquet though, is it possible to have two? A small fresh flower one for some pics and the one your aunt made for walking down the aisle, or vice versa.

I would use real. You said you love, love, love real flowers & that she wouldn’t take offense if you used her clay bouquet at the rehearsal. It’s a keepsake, she’s happy to do it… I vote to just use it for the rehearsal!

I think it is beautiful and one of a kind. If you are not using it for the wedding, then use it for the rehearsal. I know I would!

Wow! That bouquet is amazing. Your aunt does great work!! I think you should try to incorporate it somehow into your wedding. And if you don’t want to use it for the actual ceremony because you love fresh flowers, then I would definitely use it for the rehearsal.

Thanks so much! I am encouraged that either way would be good so now I can be more flexible depending on my whim and budget…18 more days. It’s decision time!

That’s pretty, but I would use a real bouquet for the wedding – it will look better in photos. I’d use that one for the rehearsal personally.

She did a really great job on those…
I made clay flowers for my wedding too…and we all carried/wore them. Many people, including my photographer, didn’t know they weren’t real.
I have other pics here…

That is so awesome! I love them. But im not sure how would it look with your BM’s having real flowers? Id go with the fresh flowers since you seem to really want them.

So pretty! But, for your wedding day, do what YOU feel you want!!! You cannot lose =)

is there a way of using few single clay flowers and mix them with real ones?
I did that for one of my clients and that way everyone was happy and didn’t have their feelings hurt.
