Hello everyone, I just discovered making your own clay flowers today and am very interested in making them for my wedding. It would be my bouquet, my 4 bridesmaids and a couple boutonniere. I know it could be time consuming but what I am wondering is if it’s cheaper than going to a florist if I used the Crayola Model Magic clay.

I’m new to Weddingbee but I saw your question and wanted to pass on this info. I made some hand-sculpted roses with white Sculpey, baked them, tinted them with a thinned delicate color of acrylic and finally coated them with Envirotex Lite, a resin, which makes them look like porcelain. I’m gathering my brooches now and hope to tuck these roses into by bridal brooch bouquet. Hope this helps. Best Wishes!!
