I usually have used First Response, but this month I bought a pack of Clear blue since they were Cheaper and at Costco.
This morning I decided to test (two days early), because I spotted this weekend, just not as much as I usually do before my period.
I got a really dark horizontal control line, and what looks like a VERY faint vertical test line. It’s so faint I wonder if I’m imagining things. I’m hoping it really IS my BFP, but I’ve read (this morning) about how a lot of women have gotten false results with this test. I’ll test again when AF is due Wednesday, but I was wondering what other bees experience with Clear Blue has been.

I had that problem too, I woke my husband up in the middle of the night because I couldn’t tell! I haven’t heard about false positives with the test, I always hear that even though it’s faint, it’s still a line which menas positive. I ended up getting a digital test the next day so I wouldn’t have any confusion, and I was pregnant.

I got a very faint line the first time i tested, like 5 days early, i waited 2 more days and it showed a much stronger positive. I used clear blue and first response. Maybe try a digital test?

From what I have heard a line is a line. If you are unsure about the brand, maybe now is the time to run out and fork over the big bucks for a digital test!

I’m going to wait until AF is due to test again, but I’m starting to feel more positive about this faint positive. My fingers are crossed!

Like Secretname said, a line is a line! I used a digital with Clear Blue, so I didn’t have to read the lines.

I used that for my first HPT, and I tested 5 days early and the line was so faint I was sure I was imagining it. So I bought a First Response and got a DEFINITE pink line, then a digital confirmed it. Good luck!!!

I’ve heard that there is a chance of false positives with blue ink tests and that you should always use the pink ink ones. I always thought a positive was a positive, but after some googling i found lots of pages where women say they’ve gotten false positives with the blue ink tests. I’d test again in a few days with a pink ink test… keeping fingers crossed for you still!

Thanks Ladies!
I’ll use up the rest of the blue tests first. and if I still get confusing results and AF doesn’t show up, I’ll go back to trusty First Response.

I bought a First Response test on my way home from work tonight and had EVERY intention of waiting until tomorrow to test, but I couldn’t help myself:
