So This is probably my 4th or 5th post about frustrations I have as a very Tiny Bride finding things to fit me….
I really wanted a fun shoe… I really wanted perhaps a purple shoe or a zebra print shoe but I knew the odds of that were slim so
Me & my FH spent the day Shoe & accessory shopping together the other day. In search of pretty much any shoe . Only to end up very dissapointed because after 3 Cities and trying on more shoes than I can even remember to count. I came home empty handed. Not because I could not find anything I liked or even Loved but because I could not find anything that FIT!
My shoe size ranges from a 2 in Kids sizes to a 5 in womens depending on the shoe.
I got very dissapointed and frustrated and ranted about how i only own 2 pair of Heels one of them I love but they are black and the others fit well but they are ugly clear stripper shoes that i had to wear as a bridesmaid once.
So anyways when we got home my FH wanted to see my Clear Shoes… Now i must admit they are very comfortable they fit very well but I dont know They feel more stripperrish than Bridal to me.
FH on the other hand liked them…. His exactly words were Cinderella Had clear shoes and thats the only reason why she married a prince lol…. Him being such a DIY like me suggested Jazzing them up somehow and he looked up clear shoes online and found some that were really cute that had some beading and rhinestone accents and such.
Now here is my question to you guys…. I dont have a picture of my shoes on this computer but here is a picture i found online that is very similar to my shoe… they are pretty much clear except for the Insoles are silver
Do you think it would just be ridiculous to wear something like this? If not do you have any suggestions on how to Jazz them up? [attachment=601110,78419]

what if you put a satin ribbon across the top. You’d have to get that special ?glue that makes it not fray…then, glue rhinestones or other sparklies on the heels? what look are you going for…maybe post your dress?

I think rhinestones would definitely be fun – I saw these recently and thought they were pretty awesome.
I’m sure you could DIY that.

They’re really not what I expected when you said they were “stripperish”. I expected to scroll down and see super tall heels and a crazy tall platform. I have no idea how you could jazz them up but I am confident that with the right materials you can make these shoes very “bridal”. And since you know they’re comfortable, I’d at least try!

I don’t think that it would look ridiculous if you wore these shoes. I would not embellish them though. I would embellish my toes instead. And maybe wear a nice ankle bracelet. I almost got clear shoes and then I found a pair of blue shoes that I fell in love with. I suggest that you go to zappos to look for shoes if you don’t want to wear your clear ones. You can search by size, style, designer, color, etc. If you find a pair that you like/love, you can check the designer’s site or other sites by googling them to see if you can find them for a better price.

I agree, don’t embellish the shoes at all…a perfect pedicure and a little ankle bracelet would be perfect.

LOL well i suppose they arent as stripperish as they could be but when i think of clear shoes that is what i think of lol.
I dont know i guess i could try them on with my dress and see
I appreciate the link but very few size 5 shoes fit me either. It all depends on how they are made and I have to try every pair of shoes on.

With zappos, you can order and return as many times as you want without having to pay for shipping, so you can purchase as many as you want and hopefully get the ones you want and then return the rest. My sister does it all the time.

I think you could DIY something on the clear shoes – flowers/ribbon or a sparkly applique…
On another note, if you’re not loving the clear – have you tried Stuart Weitzman? My mom has really tiny feet & they make size 4 heels that are gorgeous & luxurious & comfortable. If you order them from a place like Zappos.com or piperlime.com you get free return shipping if they don’t fit.
ETA – another option for you would be to check out childrens size ballroom dance shoes. They’re heels and they’ll be incredibly comfortable too & literally made for dancing the night away!
