HCG doesn’t really indicate twins this early on. I don’t think there’s really anyway to know until an ultrasound!

Ultrasound is the only way to know if you are having twins.

I had serial hcg blood draws. My numbers were very high, higher than a lot of twin pregnancies (according to beta base) and I have a singleton in there!

I had twins and didn’t experience any of the above. There’s no point speculating. Just wait and see!

My hcg was also on the high side, doubling every 27 hours on the three draws I had. Just a singleton! Only an ultrasound can tell you how many babes are floating around in there. Congrats on your pregnancy!

so I think i read that the digital goes to 3+ weeks once your hcg is over 2000. I think that’s pretty attainable for almost 5 weeks- there is a huge range in hgc and you are almost 5 weeks anyways . but a good sign the pregnancy is progressing anyways!

I am currently pregnant with twins and didn’t see any change in my early pregnancy tests – they weren’t even particularly dark lines at the beginning!

But, keep us posted (and congratulations!). Twin pregnancy is a roller coaster!

My friend was pregnant with twins and yes! This 100% happened to her. Congratulations!
