Hi ladies, I just got this thing and I’m using it to figure out when my ovulation time is (since getting off BC my periods have been few and far between, i.e. 54 days apart) The instructions say that you can test in the morning, but my girlfriend told me that can’t posisbly be true because you should really be testing in the middle of the day. Can anyone straighten me out? Thanks!
Also, I value others’ opinons and/or advice on using these kits. Thanks!

@JurisPrudence: I would definitely follow the instructions over your friend’s advice!

@JurisPrudence: i’ve used the clearblue digital OPK for the past 3 months. (the tests with the smiley face). i used them with FMU since the instructions clearly say that you CAN test with FMU. i got a smiley face every month. if you can hold your pee for 3-4 hours during the day i would test at around 2pm. but i run to the washroom all the time, so FMU worked best for me. good luck!

@elchalten: OMG I KNOW! Who the hell can hold it that long? I drink tea all day and i go all the time! OK, so it’s good to know that you got smileys even with using in the morning. THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!

By the way, something I just realized – I cannot find REFILLS for ths thing anywhere online or in stores. Looks like you have to purchase a test with the additional test strip thingies every time! Anyone have a different experience? And if so, please send a link to the refills if you’ve found them! :)))))

Thank goodness for this thread – I’ll be using the clear blue ovulation test sticks next month so these tips are so helpful!
Thank you, @JurisPrudence!
