Few things we did:

Switched to a credit union…get 3% on first 500$ in savings and the same for a separate checking account.  We also got a CC to earn miles.  You have to have fairly good credit to qualify for a good one.  Every bill and every dime we spend goes on the card first and gets paid off immediately.  You have to be on top of this one!  We also do the cash thing, we pull out what we have to spend, as we’re spending or w/e we subtract from the cash…since it was put on the card and has to be paid off.  We sold my graphing calc from high school for over a hundred, shoes for 150, misc phones for 50, guitar petals and such for several hundred all on ebay.  We also refinanced my car loan, from 7% to 3% or something like that…about 100$ diff each month.

Oh and did you get the promotional thing from tmobile?  They’re supposedly giving us january for free.  If you haven’t heard of it maybe you can call and ask…it was tmobile/nostringsattached or something like that.
