I use Dove Clinical Deodrant….a couple years ago I found regular deodrant just wasn’t cutting it, so I tried Dove Clincial.  It works really well and comes in a couple different scents.

I’ve had success with Drysol in the past. I had major sweat problems through my teens and this did a pretty good job!

I sweat a lot.  Even my nose sweats!  Seriously!  I use Secret Clinical Strength and love it.  I just recently bought their “waterproof” one and didn’t like it as much as the regular kind.  I bought it because I liked the smell, but regret it now because it doesn’t seem as potent as the original.

I used the Dove Clinical strength for awhile. I liked it, but it was way too expensive and I ran out of it much faster than stick deodorant. I went back to regular Dove deodorant and can honestly say it barely makes a difference to me.

CertainDri works like a MFer, but oh my god does it ITCH during the first couple of weeks! You’re supposed to apply it at night before you go to bed, but the itching was so bad I couldn’t get to sleep. My sister swears by it, and she says the itching stops after a couple of weeks, but I could never get through the itchy stage so I gave up. I know it works for a lot of people, so it’s worth a try. You’ll probably have better luck than me.

I’ve used CertainDri here and there and yes it does itch but it only bothers me for a few minutes…I’ve heard it itches because it’s causing your pores to constrict and shrink so they don’t sweat as much, which I’ve read isn’t always a good thing since your body NEEDS to sweat.  But I still use it once in a blue moon at night and then use regular deodorant in the morning. I’ve been wanting to try the Secret Clinical strength stuff but sheesh – $8 for a tiny thing of deodorant…not sure I want to spend that money

I use the Dove Clinical Strength stuff at night and then a regular Secret one during the day. I do tend to sweat a lot at times for no real reason–my endocrinologist said it’s probably thyroid-related (like everything else that my wonky body does), so this has been the best combination for me so far.

CertainDri works really well, then I just use regular deodorant during the day. I only found it o be itchy if I shaved the same day, so I didn’t apply it at night if I had shaved my underarms that morning…

Another bee recommended Odaban to me (have to buy it online or in the UK). It just came in the mail so I’ll try to remember to report back.

I’ve done Drysol and it does work but I couldn’t handle the itching. If Odaban doesn’t work, then I’ll suck it up with Drysol again.

I swear by Certain-Dri!! I had a really bad problem with sweating when I was about 13; I was so embarrassed by it. Then I found certain-Dri. I used the roll on kind and let me tell you…IT BURNED!!! Although it burned it was so worth it. I think I used it for maybe a week and went through pretty much the rest of my teenaged years and partial adult hood sweat free. Only now at 26 am I experiencing underarm sweat again, not nearly as bad though. I will probably use it again in the near future.
