zebra10 :  I’ve had a few dye runs like that on cheapies.  They’re cheap for a reason 😄 I wouldn’t say the test is necessarily faulty. Whenever I’ve had a test like that is has shown the correct result. But try again tomorrow!

I never had that when I used Clinical Guard cheapies, but I wouldn’t say it’s hindering the results of the test.

Test tomorrow!

zebra10 :  I actually have had dye runs on wondfos but not clinical guards. I think it’s just about the batch you get. But wondfos were reliable in the sense that they picked up my pregnancy relatively early, so I can’t complain too much.

zebra10 :  I had this happen to me this weekend with CG. The test still showed a BFP, but the edge was faded (like at the tip of both the control and test line). I still prefer CG to wondfo cause there’s really no denying a BFN vs BFP with CG. Best of luck when you test again today.

PS I’ll try to remember to post a pic of it later evening.

I’ve had this happen on cheapie tests, though more often with Wondfo – not sure I’ve ever seen it on a CG. anyway like pp I don’t think the dye run interferes with the test accuracy. When I was getting BFPs, I was still seeing a clear secondd line even with the dye run, and same thing for BFNs.
