I wore Clinique mascara and eye shadow on my wedding day. I don’t want to post pics to preserve my anonymity, but I lovelovelove their mascaras and eye shadows.

The ones I chose were more muted, but when I want a bolder look, I wear Stila shadows. There’s one called Kitten that Stila makes that is absolutely gorgeous.

I wore an entire face of clinique on the day

Foundation : – Clinqiue Anti Blemish.  This doesn’t have SPF in it and gave me a flawless look (perhaps not suitable for everyone)

Clinqiue, mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush and the only thing I used which wasn’t clinique was my highlighter which was Benefit High Beam.  I swear it never moved the whole day and the venue was really HOT!  When I took my make up off at night it was still intact and ALL of it came off on the wet wipe I used before washing my face.

Clinque is a personal favourite of mine and a lot of people gushed about my make up on the day.  I don’t have any pro photos back yet so can’t show you.  Hopefully they’re arriving this week and I’ll post for you!

Have you looked for a personal make up artist in your area that you could try?

The make-up trials are designed to lessen your fear. Do you have any good friends, bridesmaids, etc that are good with make up and could maybe help you?

I’ve had good results with Sephora… and I’ve seen really beautiful results on other people…

I had my makeup trial at Clinique, and I was very, very happy with the results. The MUA made me look like a slightly more glamorous version of myself, and I even got Fiance stamp of approval, as well. She did a really gorgeous smoky eye, I’m on my phone so I can’t post pics, but it looked really great. It even held up through yard work and cooking dinner, so I was quite pleased 🙂

Here are my makeup trial pics, they’re cell phone pics, so not the best quality…  The one thing I didn’t like was my eyelashes, I felt like the mascara was too thick and clumply, but that was partially due to the disposable applicator.  If you want to use their mascara, I would suggest either buying a tube or bringing your own applicator.  Otherwise, bring your mascara from home.

Sorry for the size, I couldn’t get them any smaller 🙁
