I found my earrings at Macy’s, believe it or not!

I wore magnetic earrings (CZ studs) for my wedding.  I thought they were decent – still hurt a bit after a lot of hours of wear, same as clip ons do for me.

When I was in a wedding as a Bridesmaid or Best Man a few years ago and the bride had particular earrings for us all to wear that were pierced, I found these converter thingies at Claires and I could wear the pierced earrings with that – basically you slip the post into it, and bend the post down, and then it’s a basically a clip on.  Should work for any earring with a post.

Like you my ears were once pierced and I let them close up.  Recently I did go to a piercing place to have them repierced.  They were able to open one of the existing piercings, and they repierced the other.  My husband bought me beautiful diamond stud earrings for Christmas and I love wearing them!  I don’t think I’ll ever do a lot of earrings and be changing them all the time, but I love wearing my diamonds and being studs they are pretty easy and comfortable.

@GingerSnapped19:  I’m not sure if this is your style or not, but Etsy has a lot of vintage clip on earrings. I’ve gotten several nice pairs for my Grandma from there (never got her ears pieced but loves earrings. Go figure!)

I’d look at vintage shops in town or online. I’ve inherited & bought tons of clip-ons, it used to be much more common not to have pierced ears. Also, you could epoxy clip-on backs to earrings, or have a jeweler do so.

baublebar.com has some clip on earring choices in their wedding section, as well as their earring section. It might not be your style, but it’s worth a look. Free shipping both ways, and isn’t horribly expensive.
