Hiya
New hubby and I have been ttc on and of for 2 years. Just been given Clomid to take for first time in a few weeks.
Can I hear your clomid success stories and positive things. Any tips would be so welcome as well! Tell me what to expect and send me your positive stories 🙂

@keranos: I haven’t been on clomid but just wanted to wish you luck. There are a lot of bees who have had success with it!

I didn’t have success, but that is because we found out after two months on Clomid that my only remaining tube was filled with fluid so I had no choice but IVF. Had I not had the tube problem, Clomid may have worked for me! (So I didn’t vote in your poll since I’m an oddball in this situation) Both months I took Clomid I had three good size follicles, so I definitely responded well to the medicine. Only problem for me was the side effects. I had major mood swings and hot flashes. Good luck!!

I have PCOS and Clomid did help me ovulate, but didn’t get me pregnant. On a happier note, I myself am a Clomid baby!
My side effects were insomnia, ovary pain and hot flashes. I thought it was bad at the time, but at this point, I am used to it. haha

I got pregnant on my second month of 100mg Clomid. My doc confirmed I was ovulating but it was a “poor”/”weak” ovulation thus resulting in low levels of progesterone. When the progesterone supplements weren’t enough, my doc prescribed Clomid to make the whole system a bit stronger. Good luck! I had some ovary pain and bloating, but that’s about it.

It hasn’t worked for me yet, this is my 3rd round. 1st round 50mg. 2nd 100, 3rd 100. All cycles were fine for me, other than slight moodiness, but I’m not sure I could blame that on the Clomid? This round I have been VERY emotional. It is doing what it’s supposed to do, but just no bfp for me, (FX – yet).
I will say I read somewhere that if you take it at night, the side affects aren’t as bad? Not sure if anyone else has experience with that?
Good luck to you! I hope it is a success for you. : )

I don’t have any stories because I haven’t taken Clomid, but I anticipate I probably will take it eventually.
I just want to send some good vibes and hope it works for you!!!

I got pg my first cycle of 50mg of clomid. Unfortunately it ended in an ectopic pregnancy. It took about 2 mths for my body to full m/c. Since then I’ve taken clomid 2 more times without success. I also have low progesterone that I believe is having a negative effect. I’m taking at least 1 cycle off and then I will try again. Good Luck to you!
