frenchiemom:  If you can muster it up, I would try and BD today and tomorrow. Two days before and the day before O are supposedly the best days to get the boys to catch the egg and if you just got a positive OPK, you should O within 12-48 hours. I know it’s easier said than done but you’ll probably end up annoyed at yourself later if you skip it. Especially if your DH doesn’t have a problem getting the job done 😉 Good luck!

Kabatchy2be:  Thanks! In the waiting room now. 🙂 How are you doing on the higher dose of Femara? Oh! I didn’t know you were also in NYC.

LittleRiver:  so far so good on the higher dose. Just saw some ewcm a little while ago (cd9) so feeling hopeful. (I neverrrr had ewcm before going on femara so that alone excites me, haha.) And yes, actually just moved from nyc up to a house in westchester. Are you in Manhattan?

Kabatchy2be:  Thank you both so much!!  I am very grateful for all of the support on this thread.  My cervix was very open today — I could hardly feel the catheter going in compared to previous procedures (IUIs 1-2 last month and a saline sonohysterogram in Sept), and the RE actually commented that it was an unusually easy insertion.  Hopefully that means our timing was spot on!  I’m so glad I pushed for one insemination at 36 hours past trigger instead of two at 24 and 48 hours, I never felt right about that timing.

Kabatchy2be:  EWCM is always exciting, haha.  Ah, the big move to the ‘burbs!  We are in the city but not sure where we’ll go when a new addition arrives.

Just finished with the RE. I have 3 13mm follies on the right and 2 9ers on the left. Have to go back Fri and Mon to monitor. Today is cd11 so timing seems about right. Last night, DH and I BD’d and I’m pretty sure he didn’t finish. The pressure is getting to him lately. Sunday we did it for fun and it was amazing. Ugh TTC probsss

<br style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; max-height: 1000000px;” />Hi everybody,

Im on my first round of clomid. I took 50mg day 2-6 and I’m currently on cd16. temps and opks have not shown ovulation yet. As I’m in the uk I don’t get an uss just a day 21 blood test. the guidance of my gynae consultant said I would ovulate 5-10days after the last pill – which has obv not happened. Is there still hope I coukd ovulate this cycle? I’ve been having a lot of lower abdominal sharp pains and nausea for the last 4 days and it’s gettingbme down.

I probably can’t join your club officially, but I’ll be taking Clomid during my next cycle for the Clomid challenge (I should start my next period on Saturday).  FI had a vasectomy thinking he would never marry and have kids, so knowing my fertility status will help us decide in which direction we should go (reversal, sperm aspiration with IUI or IVF, etc.).  We are hoping that my ovarian reserve is okay because reversal would be the cheapest option. Insurance usually covers infertility treatment but not when a vasectomy has been done. They will cover it once he has a reversal and we pay for 6 IUI’s out of pocket. Ugh..if only we had met a year earlier!  I’m so nervous about the test results.

I am 36 and Fiance is 33. So tick tock. If we end up doing the reversal, I’m pretty sure I’ll be on Clomid or some other kind of fertility drug. Good luck, everyone.

And a little hope for those who need it. My sister is having her third baby on Wednesday (c-section) after being told she would not get pregnant (her husband also has fertility issues due to an accident). Her kids are each spaced 5 years apart but they were conceived naturally.
