My endo prescribed Clomid to strengthen my ovulation. (I have PCOS and had a low progesterone level 7 dpo so he thought it would help.) I took it for two cycles, both BFN, then took two cycles off of Clomid (to switch to a fertility clinic) and wound up getting pregnant without intervention (except for Metformin) on the second cycle after Clomid. So it didn’t necessarily “work” for me, but my endo did have a bunch of success stories of women who ovulated on their own but needed Clomid to get pregnant.

Wishing you lots and lots of luck! 🙂

ETA: My aunt got pregnant on her first Clomid cycle after six months of trying with regular cycles. She did have twins! They are awesome.
