@Soontobee_Mrs.G.:  Sounds like the Clomid may just have done its job well? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Not muh to really know until AF definitely arrives or does NOT arrive, as the case may be.

A lot of Clomid side effects are similar to pregnancy symptoms which are similar to period symptoms.

I was on Clomid 50 mg the first month, then bumped to 100 mg second month because my doctor is crazy and let me do that (I love her, though!) and no we are expecting twins. I totally felt like I was about to start my period the entire TWW and even after getting my BFP. Hang in there!

@SFreeman2187:  Do twins run in the family?

Just curious because I am taking clomid as well and am on my 3rd cycle of 100mg, my Dr. actually started me off on 100mg (maybe because I have PCOS?) and because it is making me ovulate (5.9 prog level CD23 bloodwork, 7.3 prog level CD23 bloodwork) he does not plan on upping it anytime soon. Though I wish my prog levels were higher.

I have never felt any pregnancy symptoms, the only thing I felt was painful ovulation cramps the first time I O’d with clomid, didn’t feel a thing the 2nd time with it though. We shall see how the 3rd cycle with it goes.

Did not have any bloodwork. My doctor was pretty passive. And no, no twins in the family. I think my doctor and I decided that it happened the way it did because while I have been diagnosed with PCOS, I have a significantly healthier lifestyle. I almost think I would have gotten pregnant without Clomid but it would have taken longer.

I didn’t test until about 36 hours before I was supposed to start and even then, the line was VERY faint.

(I mean healthier lifestyle since being diagnosed… I was even more overweight than now among other things)

@Soontobee_Mrs.G.:  Hang in there! I hope you get your answer soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

My doctor was so frustrating – started me on 25mg (HA!) then 50 (HAHA) then wanted 75 (HAHAHA) so I did 100mg on my own, and bam. O. I should be a freaking GP. But, having said that, the last time I took 100mg, I had no O – so I’m not always right.
