@FloridaGatorBride:  Really? I saw the screen pop up for a minute before the site went down. Maybe I didn’t miss it after all! I’m EST and the site started working for me again at 9pm but I thought that the sale was from 6-9 in my time (ETA: Just checked and apparently D.C. is in the same time zone as me).

I’m jealous, I have the same shelf as you ladies (different colours) but it’s filled with toys and stuffed animals. We have no more space in her room for another with diapers. Guess the changing table will have to do LOL

@As_You_Wish:  I think I’m going to just fold them in 3 at the beginning & then get adventurous once I get the hang of it. I find a lot of the fancy folds don’t look like they give enough coverage so I’m on the fence.

@ScottishMrs:  I tried just before 9:00 last night and couldn’t get on the site. I will probably try again tonight if I’m home in time. I guess there must be a lot of people trying to take advantage of the $1.00 diapers at the same time and it’s making the site crash. The deal is on until the 17th so if I can’t get one today I’ll probably wait and try again in a few days.

@MrsHoneyC:  Ooh, what a nice DH you have! It looks great and now you have an excuse to buy more diapers to fill up all the bins Wink…lol. The thing that’s great about it is that after the LO is out of diapers you can use the storage bins for toy storage in their room.

I love cloth diapers! I’m always looking at them & I don’t even have kids yet lol but they’re just so darn cute. I definitely plan on going this route when I do have a baby. Cute diapers everyone!

@FloridaGatorBride:  So you wash cloth diapers in the washer?

Or how do you wash them?

I have always wondered this….if you put it in the washer, you can’t right bc there would be poop all over your clothes…

Cloth diapers go in the wash, but only with other cloth diapers. I wouldn’t put them in with clothes.

The early meconium poop is biodegradable in the wash so there’s no worries about pre-rinsing. The later pooops can be scooped into the toilet or sprayed off into the toilet, or some use a disposable liner to catch the poops and just flush away.

@BrideToBe14:  Breast feed babies poop is water soluable. No need to rinse or dump.. just through it all in the washer!

@BrideToBe14:  You could probably get away with washing them with clothes if you ran the diapers through a rinse cycle before throwing the clothes in but I plan to wash them seperately. If you only wash every other day you’re going to have a full load of just diapers anyway.

@RoyalLime:  Thanks! I’m happy with how it worked out.

@FloridaGatorBride:  I have to admit, I’m not looking forward to the solid poop stage but I’ll deal with that problem when it comes lol.

Speaking of which, have any of you bought disposable liners? I’ve heard that the Bummis and Applecheeks ones are good. I thought they might be handy to use when I’m away from home and can’t spray or rinse poopy diapers right away.
