@SadieBee:  A lot of moms on the FB group I just mentioned say that they use Tide Free & Clear.

@As_You_Wish:  I was a part of the Cloth Diaper Compendium for a while and they were quite nasty and rude to me a couple of times, so I left. But I have a lot of allergies and can’t use a lot of regular detergents and Nellie’s really works well with our regular clothing so far, even making some really grungy socks pretty nice again. It could depend a bit on the water we have, plus we have a small washing machine but I use the full amount of detergent that it calls for. I’ll be winging it and trying a few different washing options before making a commitment to a specific detergent, but each will be used long enough to see how it works for us.

I’m interested in cloth diapering, though Darling Husband and I are not pg yet (and we haven’t talked about cloth diapering haha). As a Canadian, are there Canadian companies I could look in to? I love supporting Canadian companies, and I detest the ridiculous shipping prices from the US.

@ScottishMrs:  Sorry to hear that people were rude to you :(. I have a lot of allergies too so I’m not sure if I’d ever be able to use regular Tide (I used to react to it when I was younger and haven’t tried it since). I use Gain on our clothing and it doesn’t seem to bother me so that’s what I plan to use on our diapers for now.

@chercee:  Lil Helpers is Canadian and as @FloridaGatorBride said, there are a lot of Canadian WAHMs who make amazing diapers. I have bought quite a few diapers from WAHMs and I absolutely love them. One of my favourite WAHM brands is Green Bumkin.
