I find it hard to find pants to fit long enough.. I’m tall.. So the only place I really go is New York & Company.   Also, my arms are long so sometimes shirts don’t hit my wrist the way they should.

Bathing Suits… (and dreading thinking about it cause I need to find another one for our Honeymoon Cruise… and now is a good time to shop because of the end of season sales)

I am a chubby gal, and over 50.  I have big booosoooms… and getting them into a bathing suit is difficult at the best of times.  I have a suit that I like for playing in the water, sunning etc.  BUT I need something that is better suited for actual swimming, snorkeling, scuba etc.  That is always problematic for me, because as much as I love a Tank Suit, they don’t provide much (or ANY support for “the girls”).

Lol, did I say, I hate Bathing Suit shopping ??!!%*$

I only like certain brands and fabric combos, must be right weight of denim, right rise, good length.

Hate shopping for jeans.

at the moment, i hate trying on clothes in general, especially pants. i almost cry every time because of my cellulite covered butt and thighs. i need new pants as NONE fit except my old sweats that won’t stay up and some crop denim pants, and unflattering work pants i got a few weeks ago. that’s it. so i know i need new ones but dread shopping and i can’t afford new ones anyway

Bathing suits, jeans and bras.

For bathing suits, I always have luck with LandsEnd.

I am such an awkward size. I am not a small girl, but I am super tall, and have a long torso, so sleeves, and shirts are never long enough. Dresses that are supposed to be empire waisted are awkwardly high and this whole “big baggy shapeless” dress trend is awful. It just makes me look frumpy. I spent 2 hours shopping yesterday (first time in like a year!) and ended up with two cardigans, two 3/4 tshirts and a tank top. I tried on like 50 things and things that would be cute style wise didn’t fit, things that fit werent very cute style wise. I remembered why I make my own clothes.

TO – Pamelor55:  YES, I’ve had good luck with both Lands End & LL Bean in the past for Bathing Suits … truthfully, I just need to get out there an go shopping… it is the “pain” of it all that keeps me putting it all off though.  Is there nothing more humiliating than trying on a Bathing Suit that doesn’t fit or is not flattering… Bathing Suit shopping can truly scar a girl’s self esteem.

I’m not a girly girl. Live in jeans, tees and hoodies all the time. Trying to find anything that if wear is difficult and very frustrating. I get angry and leave :/

Pants are a nightmare for me. I’m super short, but my waist and butt are a 6. And most dress pants hurt my stomach, which I hate. I have to get everything tailored. 🙁

Its a pain in the ass for me to shop because I have “junk in the trunk” as well and I am five foot 3. So the jeans will fit right on the butt and on my thighs but not on my waist.. *Sigh*. Have you tried Silver jeans? Thats what I wear. Depending on the style, they fit perfectly 🙂
