Ok I have a problem, none of my clothes will fit. I’ve lost so much weight now I have to basically buy an whole new whole closet since everything hangs off me. Only problem is I don’t have extra money. Second is that I’m top heavy and not like finding clothes easy in the first place, lol. Guess I shouldnt complain too much since I did want to lose some. I just have nothing to wear tomorrow for Fiance Bday I realized and all my cute Destination Wedding outfits I bought a few months ago dont’ fit…:(((

I’ve been there! It’s a comparatively nice problem to have!
Do you have any outfits that a belt or safety pins might fix? I still wear a jacket from 15 lbs ago, but I put a belt on top to emphasize my new waist. Some styles that aren’t meant to be very form-fitting will probably still look ok.

Aww, well congrats on losing what you wanted to lose! Can you exchange some of the outfits you bought a few months ago, or did you wear them already? If you know anyone that can sew, maybe they can take in a few of your favorite dresses/outfits.

They still all have the price tags on them. No these all were meant to be form fitting and look weird as is. The thing is I’ve dropped 4 dress sizes so I don’t think I can get the clothes altered without spending more than what they are worth.. Well I’m on Ebay right now and resell stores here I come all summer. I’ll bring back what I can and get store credits.

Take back/exchange what you can (sometimes stores are a little more lenient if you explain the situation and ask to exchange instead of return).
I also pulled out my sewing machine to make some easy alterations (taking in the waist on skirts, etc.).
Also – congratulations! Before I opened the link, I was concerned that they didn’t fit because they were too small – this is much easier to cheer you up from!

way to go on losing the lbs!! I am so happy to finally fit back into my old clothes…I had stashed a bunch away and am slowly pulling them out again. I hope that you will be able to find something cute and affordable to wear to your event…on the plus side you are losing weight and your clothes are too big and not the other way around. Have you thought about second hand shops? Not like the salvation army, but like Plato’s closet? They usually have clothes that are new or practically new and are often name brands.

Have you looked into the cost of having some of your clothes taken in? I have found some really good dry cleaner/tailors who will do stuff really cheap. That might be your best bet right now. Also, I am with bluebutterfly with trying Plato’s Closet if you have one nearby.
