I think this is the PERFECT dress for a flower crown… but only if YOU like them 🙂 It’s really up to you, and you can find a veil to go with any dress if thats really what you want!

Why not both? You could do a really thin raw edge single layer veil that’s kind of held on by the flower crown?

StoneFoxBride makes gorgeous flower crown veils. I think they would compliment your dress nicely.

Here’s the Tatia which I love. It has a bit of bling too:

A no-gather single tier veil would be very very very sheer. My dress has a low v-back and I’m worrying that even with my long mantilla veil on, my back is still too easily seen-through.

Wow! That dress is amazing!!! Stunning. I’m not doing anything at all – I have a similar skirt to you and a veil didn’t look right at all. I’m just having my hair done (style tbc) and not wearing any tiara/veil/comb thing at all. i felt my dress was enough on its own 🙂 x

I like the veil and floral crown combo, especially if you could remove the veil for the reception and really show off the back of the dress.

I absolutely love floral crowns, and that dress (which is beautiful, by the way) is perfect for them. I think the crown/veil combos look like a great compromise. I’ll probably be keeping that option in mind for myself!

I love long veils but I think with that dress it might be a bit much. What about a flower crown with a crystal strand woven in? I just got one like that from Asos for about 10 bucks but I’m sure you could find better quality ones, maybe on Etsy.

I’m wearing both! I think the veil makes the bridal look, and your moms point about your dress not being “formal enough” for a veil is kind of silly. You can wear a veil at the courthouse with a cocktail dress. And your dress is definitely a formal gown. Maybe not cathedral length but fingertip would look great! I will say, I don’t know if a flower crown makes sense for an indoor wedding. But if it’s your dream whatever!

Style wise I say both, however I might be worried about the crystal straps snagging the veil.  Have you tried on a veil with it to see?  Also, I was worried about being able to see the details of the back of my dress as well.  But when I tried them on together it was just fine 🙂  For reference:

I think something like these would be really pretty as you get the same look as a floral crown but the crystals tie in with your straps. Beautiful dress by the way.
