When you track your CM (I’m on FF), but you have more than one kind of CM in a day, which one do you put down? Yesterday morning, it was creamy, but by the afternoon, it was sticky. Not sure which one to put down in my chart. Any insight would be very helpful.

@lovelyrose: You should always record the most fertile fluid you see that day, so you don’t miss an opportunity to BD. 🙂 So for the day you asked about, I would record creamy. Good luck!

@lovelyrose: I’ve been wondering about the difference between sticky and creamy CM. I am too squeamish to google pictures of the stuff. Usually I don’t notice it until it’s already dry on my underwear. But sometimes it is still sticky/tacky but has a creamy appearance. How do you differentiate?

@MrsEagleEye: Thanks!!! That makes sense!
@mysterybee123: Don’t be squeamish to look up anything related to what goes on with your body =) I’ve even looked up videos of what I’m supposed to be looking for! Sticky for me is when I touch it with my forefinger and thumb and when I separate the two, I can actually hear the fingers separating. Tacky’s a good word for it, too. It’s usually white and a little clumpy. Creamy is when it looks like lotion (sometimes whitish, sometimes yellowish) and if you spread it on the top of your hand, it feels like a runny, light lotion. It can also be stretchy (a little like EWCM), but it won’t stretch as far as EWCM does before it breaks. Hope this helps!!!
