Our dog full grown is only 15 pounds and a minimal shedder. We let her sleep in our bed and regret it. She moves, wants under the blanket then wants outs, it’s annoying lol. We’ve already decided next dog won’t sleep with us no matter how cute! But at this point it’s way too late with our dog she would look at us like we’re crazy if we didn’t let her on the bed.

Our dog sleeps with us. We got her when she was one and I think she slept in bed with her previous owners because when she got here she just climbed on the bed even though she has a dog bed right next to the bed. I wish we had enforced the rule back then and have her be in her own bed. We are years down the road now and she sleeps with us which is fine because she is tiny and she sleeps on the other end in between us but dogs go everywhere and obviously you can’t bathe them everyday and now I think about all the things she is brining in bed with us. I wipe her down with baby wipes for dogs before bed but it’s not a bath you know? I wish we had thought of that before because now it would be cruel to make her sleep in her own bed.

I have a Siberian Husky and like the rest of her breed she’s very clean. But no. She’s allowed everywhere in the house but the bedroom. I need my bed, especially the pillow, no-dog clean, otherwise I think I’ll get a skin breakout. We like to sleep naked also. 😛

Our dog likes to sleep close to us so it’s either in her dog bed in the other room, or right outside our bedroom in the corridor.

I LOVE our dogs but no we don’t let them sleep with us. We are strict about not letting them on the furniture. If you give them an inch, they will take a mile… They each have a dog bed in our room and that’s where they sleep. For what it’s worth, my dogs are 100 and 50 lbs apiece… that would be a lot in our bed lol!

We have two dogs, and they both sleep with us. I love them snugging in bed with us, and can’t imagine it ever being any other way!

My dog sleeps at the end of the bed, though some nights she will jump down and sleep on her dog bed instead. She’s a lab mix, smaller than most labs I’ve seen. She’s about 60 lbs.

Not worried about when kids come as we won’t be co-sleeping.

My 12 pound chihuaua mix has been sleeping under the covers since the second night we got her almost 4 years ago.

A few months ago we got a 45lb mix and she has recently started hopping up on the bed. I don’t have a problem with it, but the boyfriend gets irritated when he comes to bed and there’s a stubborn old lady dog that won’t move out of his spot.

I’ve also said I would never cosleep with a child, but I guess we’ll see what happens when I get to that point in life.

Our dog sleeps on our bed, I loved it when she was a puppy but now that she is big (a bit bigger than a golden reteiver) I HATE it…

I don’t sleep properly, she moves around and wakes me up, she prefers to sleep BETWEEN us which has killed a lot of intimacy. It became a bit of a sore point between my partner and I as she doesn’t bother him at all – but literally will sleep ON me.

We are currently trying to transition her into her own bed on the floor and it is just so hard and tiring and emotionally draining. I just wish we had never let her up in the first place.

Our dog likes her bed to be in the corner. We never trip over it.brideandblue :

Argh! I thought I pressed no way but it appears that I accidentally voted for I hate dogs! I promise I don’t!

I don’t actually have any animals but since my baby bed shares with us, we wouldn’t let any animal in our room.
