I definitely think that’s enough munchies and variety.  The gourmet cheese plate sounds really awesome, I could see guests having a lot of fun with that.

@mtbikelover:  Pizza slices! Or little cups of fries. Sounds like it would go well with your theme 🙂

I would add some more things. Maybe some hummus to go along with the crackers (for those of us who cant eat cheese). Shrimp cocktail?

I think it sounds delish, but I would add a protein snack choice.  What about summer sausage or thin slices of hams/salomi/etc. to go with the cheese and crackers?  Meats like that seem to especially go over well with men.

@mtbikelover:  I would add zucchini spears to the vegetable tray…and I know this is super hipster, but some pickled cauliflower or something would be fun.  For the tomatoes, I would use those little heirloom tomatoes instead of regular red.

That sounds just like what we’re doing!  I think as long as you have plenty of it, it’ll be fine.  Personally, if I know there’s a dinner coming up in an hour, I don’t eat much at cocktail hour anyway.

(PS, love your username 🙂  I just went for the first time this spring last weekend!  Oof it hurt.)

Backyard BBQ theme, and I think deviled eggs.
