I am having a cocktail reception on a Sunday (no holiday on Monday). Ceremony and reception at the same venue. Any idea on what time to start? I was thinking later- 6pm ceremony with reception ending around 11pm. But I’m having second thoughts. Fiance thinks we should start around 4:30 and go to 10.

Many people say that folks leave early for Sunday weddings. I think it depends on the folks you know. If you are a close friend or family, I’d stay till the end and just come in later on Monday. I would stay with your idea and go till 11am.

Girl, some people leave weddings early no matter what! My fiance is a real stale cracker and we are one of the earliest leavers at weddings, no matter what day! LOL. I’m having a Sunday wedding on June 12th. 4pm-ceremony. 5pm -6pm cocktails, and then 6pm official starting of us walking in bla bla bla. We have the venue till 10pm. Let’s face it, half of the people will be out of there by then.
I think the people who adamantly complained about the Sunday wedding with us, were losers who were not coming, anyway. And, just wanted to be negative. do YOU. Who will come, will come. And, who aren’t coming, aren’t coming. Trust me.
