Which coenzyme q10 do you use? Any recommended brands? I’ve been reading about it as being good for egg quality so I want to start taking it, but I found different ones out there. Also I read that bioavailability and absorption is important and some forms of CoQ10 are better than others…?
ETA: what dosage do u take?
I am thinking of getting the 200mg from Costco (Webber Naturals brand). Is that enough?

I got my husband the ubiquinone variety (I forgot what that meant, and i probably spelled it wrong) from Trader Joes. It was two a day. DERP. Edited to add, that was for HIM, not me. It was supposedly good for sperm production, which is why I got it.

So I kept reading about it this morning… it seems like ubiqinone like @Mrs. Kiwi: mentioned is one form of CoQ10 and ubiquinol is the “reduced” form of ubiqinone so it basically absorbs better in the body. The dosage also depends on which form of CoQ10 you take. Generally you don’t need to take as much ubiquinol Also I found out that softgels are better than capsules because they contain oil or fat that helps the molecule become better absorbed in the body (i.e. it is a fat solubale substance).
The question now is which brand to choose – I found NOW Foods Ubiquinol 100 mg and SISU Ubiquinol 100 mg. NOW has less preservaties but is more expensive ($52 for 60 softgel)…. any body has any other suggestions for brands?
