As I am TTC I have been instructed by my doctor to greatly decrease my caffeine intake.  I have since found a new appreciation for peppermint tea.  I usually drink it with half a packet of truvia and almond milk.

Alternatively, sometimes I drink fresh grated ginger root with lemon juice and honey in hot water.

I’ve cut way down on caffeine since getting pregnant so I’ve mainly been drinking caffeine-free lemon tea.

BUT I *did* treat myself to a couple of Starbucks white chocolate mochas last week as a reward for passing my glucose test 😝 probably 37483 calories each but so worth it.

I’ve been drinking tension tamer tea. It’s a stressful time of year lol.

Peppermint tea is my favorite. I also will have a DIY chai tea latte once in a while (chai tea with splash of vanilla creamer). My splurge is the pomegranate blueberry tea latte from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. It tastes like a warm hug on a cold night!

I am a tea fanatic and have a whole cupboard full of different flavours.

Lately I’ve been drinking the “chocolate chili chai” and “let it snow” from David’s tea – they are both amazing!

Currently I like Peet’s Major Dickason blend, black. It is has enough caffeine so I only need to drink max 2 cups/day, tastes great, not acidic, and doesn’t hurt my stomach afterwards. Costco have it for cheaper and it is free shipping.

When I want something refreshing, I love Hibiscus Berry from Paromi Tea. It has natural sweetness and really refreshing berry flavor without being overwhelming. You can buy it in Whole Foods. I usually make iced tea with it.

pink624 :  It is! My diabetes neighbor love it whenever she come over because it doesn’t have additional sugar in the Ingredients (only fruit sugar) so it is still doable for her. It is also really amazing in summer after working out. You can totally brew it hot, but I always like it cold even in winter.

I’m generally drinking some assortment of green tea with favouring. My current one is green tea with raspberry but my current favourites are gingerbread green tea or salted caramel.

I’m a little bit of a coffee addict. I like tea too (English breakfast or Earl Grey usually). I’m in Australia and don’t care that it’s summer… I still need my coffee regularly. Any kind of real coffee, milk, no sugar and sometimes alternate with tea πŸ™‚

I’m a sucker for Peppermint Mocha creamer. Hazelnut Creamer. Chocolate Caramel creamer…..lol.

I get Folgers coffee and use creamers and add ins, like Starbucks instant peppermint mocha so add flavor.

My favorite flavored coffee is Hazelnut.
