So I am getting married July 2 at 4 in the afternoon in TEXAS!!!! I expect it to be hot, so I plan on doing everything inside….Ceremony and Reception. I am getting married at a church and can’t have a champange or wine toast. I want to do something a little special for the guests. I was thinking a coffee bar or doing something like that. My theme is sort of formal though, and so I am not coming up with other ideas. I dont know if the coffee bar is a good idea, because it will more than likely be in the 90s then.
Should I do that and have some cold lattes too? Or what other ideas can I do??
Thanks fellow Bees

I think a coffee bar after dinner would be nice. I’m a coffee addict so I’ll drink it even if its 1000 degrees outside, but you could have iced coffee as well. Or some fancy iced lattes. Fancy creams, flavors, syrups. Or maybe some flavored iced tea for guests who dont like coffee?

I think coffee in the evening/afternoon on a 90 degree day may not be that inviting. How about homemade lemonade? Or iced tea?

How about smoothies? I love smoothies 🙂

I would be totally down for a coffee bar as long as it’s inside and well air-conditioned! I think the latte idea is awesome but would be really pricey.

I hate coffee and don’t like the smell either. I would definitely have something else for the guests that don’t like coffee, and try to keep the area well ventilated so the smell of the coffee beans isn’t too strong.

Could you do a coffee and tea bar?

What about a lemonade bar? This may sound completely childish BUT you could have lemonade, limeade, strawberry lemonade with all the add-ons…strawberry slices, lemon & lime slices.. you could even have the glasses dipped in sugar for a cute sugar rim or use these cute straws http://www.etsy.com/listing/70452496/aqua-striped-paper-straws-and-sprinkles
