1.You could do coffee and dessert:

-for your tablescape raise some coffee cups or mugs up on pedestals (cylinder vases or bottles lined with a bright paper that goes with the pattern or color  on your coffee cups)

-collect coffee mugs in the bride’s colors

-or fill cylinder vases or bottles with coffee beans and flowers

-have cupcakes with the same colors

OR

2. go with a coffee house theme-arrange furniture into several seating areas with small tables

-make a sign from an old window

– use brown and white for your color scheme

-make a chalkboard menu with blackboard paint

-have small flower arrangements in white coffee cups

-use french press coffee makers if only for their appearance

-keep your desserts in the same color scheme

@julies1949: Super cute ideas! I also remember another bee on here had little packets of coffee that she and her Fiance both loved and tied them together with a little note about ‘the perfect blend.’ Those would be cute little favors.

Maybe some chocolate covered coffee beans for a treat at the shower? Or sometimes there’s a ‘shower bingo’ game where guests get a bingo card and fill in gifts they think the bride will get and mark them off (with beans, if you’d like) as the gifts are unwrapped. Some coffee blends, chocolate covered beans, starbucks cards, etc, could be the prizes for those who get a bingo.

If the library will let you do this there, it’s a lovely idea!!

What about asking a local small breakfast coffee shop that closes in the PM if they could stay open just for you?

You could ask everyone to bring a mug they no longer want to be donated to a shelter.

Serve different coffees, mocha ice cream, mocha cake, sandwiches and salad.

We’re doing coffee themed save the dates!  magnetstreet.com has magnets in the shape of to go coffee cups that you can personalize and I pretty much fell in love with the idea.

I’m definitely going to be watching this thread!  Good Luck!

As soon as I saw this I thought you should have Tiramisu for dessert, which is one of my all time favorite things. You might also hold the shower at a coffee house. I know in my area there is a fantastic one that has an open area that I’ve always thought would be fun to hold a little get together at. You may have one near you that would work. You might make a deal with the manager to run a tab for your group, or do a set charge for an all you can drink thing so the ladies can try the specialty coffees.
