I’ve had Cold Stone cake before and liked it a lot!  If you are into it – then go for it.

On another note – I thought CS cakes we’re more expensive than that?  I bought one to feed like 10 people and it was about $20.

Just be sure your venue has a freezer that can accomodate the cake right up until the minute it needs slicing.

@Ashco…Cold Stone is AMAZING and you should totally do it! Have them cater or use their cakes! If that is what you and Fiance want then do it! I was just at Cold Stone Saturday and OMG amazing. I wanted to eat everything there! Darn wedding diet.

Me and Fiance were just thinking about this idea for our reception also and I was planning on contacting them to see if this possible. I didnt know if they would decorate it how we wanted it or if you had to stick to their designs. I love Cold Stone Sweet Cream! YUMMY!

We got a Midnight Delight cake from Cold Stone as the groom’s cake. It was gone in about 15 minutes & the 300.00 wedding cake was still mostly intact! It was insane!!! PEOPLE LOVED IT and kept asking us where we got it. If I would have known everyone would want THAT one, I probably would have just gotten 2 Cold stone cakes, saved about 200.00 and been done with it… live and learn I guess! LOL.

I would SERIOUSLY do a cold stone cake at your wedding. It will be a huge hit, guaranteed 🙂

@okqueenbee-I was just wondering if you had to pick their designs or were you able to put your own design on the cake?

I went to a wedding where they served Coldstone cupcakes instead of traditional wedding cake… it was really popular, but tricky, because you have to keep it frozen until you serve it! If you can, I say go for it!
