@kaa02c: Girl, I am loving your menu 🙂 I think the cold stone touch would be great! I cant figure my menu out :/
With 200 people it will definitely take too long to mix ice cream. My friend is planning her wedding and she is going to have a Ben & Jerry’s food truck come out because they have a lot of kids at the wedding. Overall I love this idea! Just make sure you have a diary free option for people who are lactose intolerant.
I would pay a million dollars to go to that wedding! Lol
I used to work at Cold Stone and if you got enough people working they can mix ice cream like nobody’s business!
I’m not even a fan of cold stone and that sounds fantastic to me. It would be memorable for sure. I’d second the PP and make sure you have enough people working though.
My first job was at cold stone! If you hire enough people to serve your guest it shouldn’t take long at all. I think it’s a great idea!
We are thinking of serving heart-shaped icecream with our cake.. our plan is to basically mold the icecream the day-of, put it in the freezer, and dish it out with the icecream. I’m not sure how it’ll go exactly.
I’m going to try it at our annual work halloween party and see how it goes!
@kaa02c: I like the idea and it would be a nice touch.
Wow, your menu sounds amazing!! I want to come. As PPs have said, it may take awhile for someone to mix for all those guests… but at the same time, probably some people will be too full, as you said, so it’s not like you’ll have 200 people waiting for ice cream! I don’t know, I love the idea…. maybe do it if your budget allows, but if it’s feeling like an added expense then skip it?? It’s not like people will go hungry, lol.
Wow, are menus are so similar. We are having Caribbean food and a dessert bar with a s’mores station and we want a ice cream bar. I don’t think it’s too much food. If nothing else at least they at we’ll.lol that’s my motto
If it seems like too much hastle, you could always rent a soft serve icecream machine, and you’d just need to buy the icecream!
