Hi Bees,
Just wondering what you thought about guys and cologne or guy scents in general.
I don’t like ALL smells e.g. i don’t like that strong “BRUT” smell that some guys wear (ughh hello headache) but there are some guy colognes that i’ve smelled before that are really nice …
My Fiance doesn’t wear cologne because he’s allergic, (he is super clean and likes to smell neutral) but sometimes I daydream about how nice it’d be if he could wear it once in a while. I think that there are some scents out there that can be true aphrodisiacs, LOL.
What do you think of guy-scents/colognes; what ones do you like and what ones don’t you like? Just curious.

My Fiance loves cologne and the most subtle is Cool Water which smells really clean and not heavy at all. He also has which is a heavy smell Ralph Lauren (green bottle) and Burberry smells awesome it is a light smell also.
If he spray the cologne on his clothes would that still cause his allegies to act up.

This is totally weird, but I love the smell of my FI’s deodorant lol. He just uses SpeedStick, but since he’s not a cologne kind of guy, it’s all I have to work with, and I really do like the smell.
So when we sleep, I just snuggle up to him and bury my nose in his ‘pit. Either the stuff works wonders, or he’s naturally un-stinky because he’s never smelled like B.O., even after hikes in the desert, softball games, or playing basketball with the guys.

It really depends on the man. Fiance wears The One by Dolce & Gabbana, normally a scent considered to suit an ‘older’ gentleman but on him, it smells like creme brulee.
I also love Chanel colognes, Allure Homme is gorgeous.

my husband wears candies for men; essential sport by lacoste- i gave this to him for christmas and it smells so good;he wears eternity aqua by calvin klein occasionally- i got a sample bottle and gave it to him; i think he wears polo black too. all of the scents he wears are pretty light and not too over powering. i love aqua di gio too! my husband used to wear it a long time ago. he usually only wears cologne when we’re going somewhere, but once in a while he’ll spray some before bed- usually because he wants to have sex and wants to get me in the mood. it works, haha.
@anonybee726: i like the smell of my husband’s deodorant too. i’m not even sure what he uses, but it smells so good, haha.

Fiance doesn’t wear cologne because he’s simply not interested. He’s really low maintenence so I don’t ever see him starting anytime soon.
Personally I find a lot of men’s cologne, especially the cheap stuff, to be really offensive. It’s so heavy and oppressive it makes me gag. I like really light clean smells. I once walked past a guy who smelled like fresh ceder and it was so amazing I almost turned right around and started following him haha.

My fi has a whole cabinet full of cologne [we both have tons], but he prefers Axe. I do like the smell of axe , I just can’t be in the same room as him when he puts it on!
