- Wedding: August 2008
We are planning our vow renewal and I’m having difficulty deciding on colors. The colors for our first wedding were fuschia and orange and I’d like to keep those. However, I’d like to add aqua and lime green as well. Is this too much? We aren’t going to have a wedding party so the colors will represented in the flowers and linens mostly. We’d also like to add some shell accents because this will be a beach themed vow renewal. Is this too much going on? Here is what I was thinking:
Starfish tied onto the end of ceremony chairs with pink, orange and green flowers tied with aqua ribbon.
My bouquet will be pink, orange and green flowers tied with an aqua ribbon.
Candy buffet will incorporate all colors with seashells used on table for decor.
Centerpiece will be floral arrangments in pink, orange and green surrounded by aqua votives and seashells.
Cake will be aqua with edible seashells.
Table linens will be white underlay, aqua overlay, and orange napkins. Chairs will be covered with white covers and tied with aqua sashes.
Is this too much color? I’m trying to focus the orange and aqua as our primary colors and then use the lime green and fushia as accents.
