Go with your gut, you will never regret it.  I always invisioned a sage green or red.  I went with green and am so glad.

Your palette looks very fall. I like the purle and orange, but stay away from yellow and red.

Beleive it or not, my flowers were suppose to be pink and orange, but my florist gave me purple and orange. So maybe something like this. Maybe add white or light purple.

Stick with what you’ve got. There are so many ways to have a beautiful wedding; we’re inevitably going to see ideas that we love and aren’t using in other posts, in magazines, etc.

You’ll make yourself crazy, though, if you second-guess yourself. Keep the purple and everything you’ve already ordered.

Don’t second guess yourself.  The things you’ve chosen are lovely.  And don’t worry about purple not being a traditional June color.  I got married in December and pink was my color, not a traditional December color.  It was perfect for us though, and your purple will be perfect for you!

ETA: By The Way, if that’s the bridesmaid’s dress you’ve chosen–LOVE it!!

I think you should definitely go with your gut – even if you think the purple evokes more of a fall feel, there are definitely ways you can lighten it up – you already have some really great ideas! If you end up doing pink, I think you’ll end up regretting it and wondering what it would have looked like if you went purple. First instincts are usually spot on πŸ™‚

I am doing pink, and have second guessed it at times, but the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are already ordered.

Personally I think purple is very modern and classic at the same time (is that possible?? haha) If you are worried about it being too dark, brighten it up with lavenders, creams, or dusty rose colors (im talking more flowers than anything else).

But i think purple can be such a fantastic romantic color, that it really isnt tied to just one season!
