This is a question for those of you who made / ordered your own wedding album online (through Bay Photo etc), using photographs taken by a professional:
Did you use color correction?
I am assuming my professional photographer has already color corrected the digital files given to me, and I am happy with what she has done. So I’m not sure whether I need to color correct again when making my own album through another company?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Your images should be pretty neutral, but your photographer has color corrected them most likely for THEIR lab. I would try and print some test 5×7’s first at the place you are getting your album done to see how they look.

@fvsbride: I ordered our album through Adoramapix and chose the color correction. Not so much for the pro photos in the album, but more for the non-pro photos that I mixed in. The photos came out just fine, both pro and non-pro.
If you are using all pro photos the album shouldn’t need color correction. But like USER876 pointed out every lab has slightly different settings. So if it were me, I’d either test your photographer’s images before buying or opt for the lab to color correct.

Thanks so much for your advice USER876 & mousegirl!
I think I will go ahead and request the lab do color correction, just in case.
