So I had decided on a color combo of light blue with gold accents for an evening summer wedding. I received the color swatches for the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, the light blue looks more silver so I will have to go with a darker blue or it will look silver/gold. also my dress looks like it has silver in it..so maybe I shouldn’t use gold at alll.. ARG!
here is my wedding dress
here is the bridesmaids dress..it was going to be in euro periwinkle..but I dont know if gold accents would work with this and my dress.. what do you think? should I change the colors?

Why not order the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses in Euro Sky Blue? I googled around and found a photo of it, and it looks like it would be lovely with gold. Also, even if you go with the more silvery periwinkle dress, you can bring out the blue tones with accessories – how about a french blue sash/bouquet wrap for your BMs, light blue ties for your groomsmen, blue hydrangeas, etc?
I definitely wouldn’t worry about the silver in your dress (or the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses) clashing with gold accents. I think that as long as the shades are subtle, mixed metallics work beautifully – you could have light blue with accents of soft gold, champagne and some pewter and silver shades and I think it would all harmonise really well. what color are your wedding bands if they are yellow gold then keep the gold if they are white gold then that might not match. Your dress is really pretty. Sky blue and silver would be pretty.
