Hello Bee-eautiful Brides to Bee! (ok yeah I overdid it a little lol)
So here’s my problem: my colors are pink (a little lighter then bubble gum) and tiffany’s blue. They look so pretty together and my future Mr. and I do everything pink and blue. I’m always pink he’s always blue, so I thought that was a cute idea for the wedding too especially since they’re our favorite colors. The girls will be all pink and the boys will be all blue accents, it works everywhere..except my tables! It looks like I’m trying to do too much! Here’s what I’m trying to work with; i have to choose the color of the tablecloth, napkins, chair cover, chair bow, and favors (my centerpiece is pink). It sounded fine in my head but as I started to try to picture what would be which colors..it either looks too bright and not elegant, or a majority of one color making the second color look like an afterthought!
Anyone have any ideas about how to make it blend and look graceful and not one toned?? Thanks!
(Oh, also its more money to choose a tablecloth and chair cover color that isn’t white..doable if its the only way but TRYING to stick to a white base)

Why don’t you do white linens with blue and pink napkins? And just forgo the chair covers altogether

I thought about it, but you don’t think it would seem like a birthday party sorta? That’s mostly what I’m afraid of since I chose 2 bright colors!

Would you be against adding an additional color just for the tables? If you did a black tablecloth it could add a touch of sophistication and get rid of the "birthday party" look that you are worried about. If money is an issue, I’d nix the chair covers.
I’m attaching a picture, lets hope it works!

I’m not sure how formal your wedding is going to be, whether it will be indoors or outdoors. But I found a pic while on google and it contains pink and blue!

Colin Cowie uses a dove grey or silvery grey for table linens to make wedding colors pop lots of times, and it does look gorgeous and not "overdone." I LOVE dove grey linens and I think it would make your tables look superchic with the tiffany blue and pink.
Here are some sample set ups from Party Rental LMTD (super great inspiration)

Sigh. My attachments did not work. Just go to Party Rental Ltd. and click on LOOKS and then click on GREY at the bottom of the page to see some table set ups using grey linens. I love them all!

I like the photo with the blue tablecloths posted above. Maybe if you do a very pale pink and make the blue dominant it won’t be "too much" as you say. Or just do the white table cloths, blue napkins and pink centerpieces … although I must admit that might look a teensy bit childish.

You could do a sheer blue table overlay/the pink flowers (everything else white), and that would work. But the blue table cloth picture posted above is prettier than the white idea I have in my head. 🙂

Here’s a gorgeous pink & blue wedding. It looks like she has some blue tablecloths, but most of them are white! It seems like the pink is in the flowers, while the blue is in the accent pieces. It’s totally do-able with a white base! 🙂 Having the blue bridesmaid dresses helps in her case.

what if you alternated- one blue table one pink?
