I need your opinions on colors!!
We’ve played with a million different color schemes – first coral and grey, then burgundy and white, then most recently burgundy with lots of light corals and pinks.
The bridesmaids dresses will be burgundy, and I want big soft colored flowers. All along we’ve been picturing accents of burlap.
Here is our dilemma… We went to pick out linens last weekend. I thought I wanted ivory tableclothes and burgundy napkins but when we put them together, it was just sort of blah! It was definitely missing something. However… we both fell in love with a slate blue crinkled silk/taffeta table cloth. At first I just said no, I didn’t want to change the colors of the bridesmaids dresses, and I didn’t think we could pull off burgundy and sate blue.
When we got home, I pulled together an inspiration board with the new colors and I think I love it but I’m doubting myself!!! What do you think?
If we went with this scheme, we woudn’t do burlap accepts, but we’d do birch instead. I surprisingly love the blue and burgundy together – they seem very classic traditional New England which is appropriate since we’re getting married in Vermont. I think with the birch and the touches of kraft paper and soft flowers that I’m picuting, it could be like a classic New England rustic wedding.
What do you think, bees? Can we pull it off?????? Other suggestions? Show me pictures if you have ideas please! xo
