I am all over the place trying to decide what color linens, flowers, accents I want. My Bridesmaid or Best Man are wearing black cocktail dresses and my favorite color is teal. I want to use David’s Bridal’s oasis in particular, for the groomsman ties. So far I think I am going to get pewter pintuck linens and oasis napkins and sashes.
I cannot decide on chair cover color. I tried to find covers in the oasis color (to use with no sashes), but had no luck. I feel like my only other options are black and ivory. I would really like to use chivari chairs but becase the wedding is in a much smaller city I am limited for rental facilities. The only place in town wants $14/chair! If I get them from a larger city nearby their delivery charge starts at $400! I jsut can’t imagine paying that much for chairs!
My 2nd dilemma is the flower color. My florist suggested ivory but I want some color. I was thinking of orange, yellow, purple, or blue. I am so indecisive.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!

@lscarbor: I voted pinks because I think pink flowers with teal really pop! It does kind of depend what look you’re going for though… Whites and ivories would definitely be a beautiful option with the teal too. That would be my second choice. Here a few pics that might help you decide!

I voted blues, but I think blues and whites would look good since your girls are in black. I wouldn’t intro another color unless you are tying it in with centerpieces or something else, but that is me – I like super color coordination.

Def ivory over black for the chair covers. The black is going to be too drastic. But to incorporate it, perhaps black table clothes w/ teal napkins, like in this pic.
For flowers you can do ivory (to incorporate chair covers) with pops of pink (I think this will work over small pops of orange or blue.)

I second the ivory for chair covers with an oasis sash and the black table clothes. I like the pinks roses but I like yellow better personally. I think it really pops against the blue plus if you us yellow, you could even through in some orange. Here’s some pics to help decide.
Now really looking at some pictures, orange or pink your is the best bet.

Personally, I think black table covers is a bit much. Too dark. I’d go with teal linens and black napkins.
As for flower colors, I LOVE the pink and teal suggestions above.

I think a really good way to go when it comes to colors is to choose one neutral color such as white, ivory, black, etc… and then do different shades of another color throughout your wedding. I am doing white and blue. So instead of having to match everything to a certain shade of blue, we are having royal blues, sky blues, tiffany blues, you name it! It will look really pretty! It makes it a little bit less stressful and it adds a little bit something extra.
