ok i need some help ladies. we cant decide on a color theme. like we change it all the time cause one or both of us dont like it. i came up with a ton of combo ideas and he shot them all down. i really really wanted something with red. but he doesnt want any red cause its done a lot. may be able to do a darker burgundy tho. i also would really love dark green but he totally vetod that so thats out. he really likes either purple, blue or teal which im ok ish with all those but they dont overly impress me. i like the lighter colors like light blue, lavender and pink but he doesnt. he may be open to them if its pair with a dark color too so not a light pastel theme at all. were open to black and a color too. we both agree no orange, browns, tans/champenge, or coral colors. so i need ideas cause im at a loss. please post your color themes. light or dark, whatever colors you got.

I would try to ask him what colors he does like, and see if you can go from there. Also, talk about how you will use the colors, as he may not want to wear a pink vest but be ok with a pink butannaire (sp). You can keep all the clothing in darker more subdued tones and use the flowers or decor to bring in pops of lighter color.
So maybe dark burgandy, pink and black? That might be ok for both of you. The BMs could have burgandy dresses, Groomsmen burgandy vests & ties, and use pink flowers (with some other colors for accents, this is a starting place of course) and a combo of burgandy & pink decor.
Maybe purple, lavendar and black?
Maybe start with asking him what colors he is ok wearing and start with that. Just keep looking up ideas and ask him to look some up too. Good luck, bee. You’ll figure it out!

I would suggest each of you pick a color you want that compliments each other, since it’s both of your wedding! I see he likes teal and you like red. How about a red a teal wedding OR a jewel toned wedding with purple, teal, red and maybe one other color?
Here are some pinterest links
Or like this but with the teal being darker and richer

Navy goes with just about everything (like just about any of the pastel colours you were describing). That could be your base dark colour to keep it from being too light.

i did have that idea. we each get to pick one of the colors. im figuring more than likely he’ll pick purple or teal for his color so i need something for that. i really like the dark sangria/dark fuchsia color which would be very pretty with either one. or my other idea would be jewel tone with dark red, hunter green, royal blue and plum.
we also both semi agreed on black and royal blue but i think a third color would nice with it but idk what

Why not purple and red? We had “radiant orchid” and red and I’m still obsessed with it. We had so many compliments and everyone was surprised. You get red, he gets purple!

We are doing charcoal/black/white with gold and pink accents. The only colours he would agree to were black and charcoal so the bridesmaids are wearing charcoal, groomsmen in black, black tablecloths, white chairs, gold candles, pink flowers, pink shoes, lots of sparkle and glitter
