Hi Everyone…. I’m new to posting on Weddingbee, but certainly not new to reading! I think this is wonderful online community and would love to hear any opinions that you may have! I am having trouble deciding on a color palette for our reception. My fiance and I want to create a very warm, casual elegant type mood. The reception will be taking place in a restaurant that has very 1920s style architecture. The space itself has lots of warm woods, leather, dark blue and rust colors. We plan to use lots of candles in the space and include some vintage touches. A little other info about our wedding… its next October and will be fairly intimate (~75 guests). Which color palette do you think would work best??
Thanks!!

Also, do you have pictures of the space? Maybe from a vendor website?

Here are the color palettes…. I did not make these boards myself. The first is from the Inspired Bride website and the second from Snippet and Ink.

Thanks for the welcome, KMSull! I do have pictures of the space, but they are still on my camera. I’ll try to download them and post them later tonight!

Hi Aubrey!
I LOOOOVE the first one. So beautiful! I agree, I want to see pics of where you’re getting married… are the carpets a certain color, or the chairs or drapes or something? That way, maybe you could pick a palette that sort of helps them blend in. Good luck and welcome to the ‘bee! 🙂

Isn’t the first image from 100 Layer Cake? Definitely check out 100layercake.com for awesome rich, fall inspiration boards. I loooove me some jewel tones.

It might be, roseybride! I have not been very good at keeping track of my sources! Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Everyone! Thanks for your opinions so far! I really love the fig colors but am worried that the pinks will clash with the reds and burnt oranges already in the space. I finally got my venue pics off my camera. Let me know what you think! I also found 2 other color palettes that on 100 layer cake that I really enjoy and think might compliment the space. If we go with either of these new palettes (the fall colors or the owl colors) we will likely add a darker blue into the mix as well.
