EastMeetsBarn, that was the idea. I was going to wear red shoes to match with my bridesmaids’ dresses. They were to decide on a style. I don’t even care if they have different styles as long as they can match their color. However, it will look a bit off with only 2 bridesmaids and 2 different styles. 4+ bridesmaids can pull that off nicely.
Love the different opinions and ideas. Thank you!

I think you can do 2 different styles with just 2. I went to a wedding that did it with 3 (in navy blue), and it looked great. It just so happened that my BMs picked the same style, but I was up for anything so long it was the same designer, same fabric (since satin and chifon can look like different colors), and not long. The dress they wore was tea length, but one of them hemmed it to her knees, and the other kept the length. They also picked their own shoes (they chose to both wear silver, but I was fine with silver or black, and didn’t really care if they wore the same color; my Maid/Matron of Honor changed into more comfortable black shoes at the reception), jewelry, and hairstyles. I thought they looked great! And while I was afraid my shoes might clash with their dresses since I just bought red shoes at Payless, in the photos you’d think I had them dyed to match 🙂
