i love the eggplant, especially for a fall wedding.

that vintage color palette made me doubt mine for a bit too, but i’m sticking with the colors i originally loved for a bright summer wedding.

I’m partial to eggplant bc it’s one of my colors!  Our wedding is in April and our colors are eggplant, lavender, pale green and ivory with champagne accents.  I love your inspiration board!

It sounds like eggplant will work better with your venue space, so it got my vote.  Also, I think we tend to change our minds trying to live up to things on blogs, but the colors should be what you love and what makes you happy.  Whichever you choose, as long as you enjoy the colors, you can’t go wrong!

Honestly, I’m doing the vintage theme…and it makes it really tough to keep on one color scheme.

I wish I had a set color palette! If I were you I would stick with Eggplant.

By The Way…what venue are you using? I lived in PHX for a few years πŸ˜‰

I think since you have a contemporary venue, then you should keep the deep, rich eggplant.  I think the vintage tones are best left for traditional settings and outdoor weddings. πŸ™‚

i don’t see why you couldn’t do vintage with purple and grey! am i wrong? does vintage HAVE to be washy colors? i always thought it was more about styling… what did you decide?!
