I love this! I read it for me and I thought it was quite true. H2B is sitting here going ‘what a load of rubbish’ though!

Those are very flattering (in the OP link) but I don’t know how true they are. The pic one seems a little more true.

I think preferred color palette can say something about the person/couple, though. It won’t always be true, but be a good rule of thumb. Sometimes it’s obvious: red, white and blue: “USA! USA!” Tiffany blue: “Guess what brand I really really like?” …but sometimes not so obvious… for example, I think orange can indicate a down-to-earth person. It may just be “My wedding had to be in the fall for reasons outside of my own preference and this is a fall color” or any number of other things (favorite sports team, discount on orange colored decor, etc.), but I think more often than not, a bride who chooses it will be down-to-earth.

We’ve chosen one color so far (purple) and it was my FI who came up with it. Does he fancy himself royalty? Hmm, maybe…lol!

I’m using purple for my wedding and I certainly don’t think myself royalty.  It’s just my favorite color, but it’s also the favorite color of a lot of people who really like fantasy and it’s a very common color in fantasy works.

And any bride getting married around 2013 would have been way too young to have gone to prom in the 80s!

I do agree with the light pink though– “my husband has no choice. Ever.”  hahaha, I’ve been wondering how so many brides choose light pink and not have their husbands protest.  Do guys really have so little involvement in the wedding planning process? :/
